Tom Morello mistaken for ‘Jersey Shore’ actor by tour guide

Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello said a Hollywood tour guide mistook him for an MTV cast member. jerseyshore while hiking in Southern California this week.

Now tour tourists have photos of Morello that they might assume show not a musician, but one of the co-stars of the reality TV franchise which continues today with Jersey Shore: Family Vacationlike DJ Pauly D or Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

How the situation to arrive? The Rage Against the Machine rocker, who released the collaborative album last month The Atlas Underground Floodexplained the story on Tuesday (January 18).

morello said“I was hiking today when one of those ‘Hollywood Tours Of The Stars Homes’ vans pulled up.”

He continued, “The driver said over the megaphone, ‘Hey, I recognize you somewhere! Are you one of those guys from Jersey Shore?’ Photo.”

It’s definitely one way to get a candid photo of a hiking guitarist. But it is debatable whether patrons took the guide literally, or whether some guessed that Morello was not, in fact, from jerseyshore. Was there no one aboard a Rage Against the Machine fan?

Or maybe the guide was just having fun with Morello, and didn’t really assume he was a jerseyshore Star. Either way, it’s a pretty funny story.

The Atlas Underground Flood features Morello’s collaborations with musicians like Rush’s Alex Lifeson and Metallica’s Kirk Hammett. It follows the Rage guitarist’s second collaboration album, The Atlas Underground Firealso released in 2021.

This year, the reunited Rages are having a massive concert tour across North America, but they won’t be performing at Coachella 2022.
