The IRCTC will organize 3 organized trips in the new year

Amaravati: The IRCTC will operate special tourist trains in the new year in January, February and March strictly following the Covid protocol, Deputy Director General, IRCTC, Central South Zone, DSGP Kishore said.

Giving details of the tour packages, DGM said that the first Vibrant Gujarat tour package includes 10 nights and 11 days will start from Vijayawada on January 21 covering Somnath, Dwraka, Nageswar, Bet Dwaraka, Ahmedabad and the Statue of Unity. Boarding stations will be Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajamahendravaram, Samalkot, Tuni and Visakhapatnam. The cost of the visit per person is Rs 10,400 in couchette class and Rs 17,330 in 3AC. He said the package includes accommodation, transportation and food. The IRCTC DGM said the second six-day Gracious Goa package tour with Hampi begins on February 12 with embarkation stations at Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle, Rajamahendravaram, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Secunderabad. The visit costs Rs 6,620 per person in couchette class and Rs 8,090 per person in 3 AC.

He said the third 8-day Uttar Bharat Darshan tour package with Mata Vaishnodevi covering Agra, Amritsar, Haridwar, Mathura and Vaishnodevi starts from Vijayawada on March 19 with embarkation stations at Rajamahendravaram, Samalkot, Tuni, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam. The visit costs Rs 8,510 per person in couchette class and Rs 10,400 per person in 3 AC.
