Pakistan Travel Services Export – Trendinginsocial

Pakistan earned US$282.010 million from providing different travel services in various countries in the first six months of the current fiscal year 2021-22.
This shows a growth of 25.82% from the US$224.140 million that the same services were provided in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year 2020-21, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported.
During the month under review, personal travel services increased by 25.79%, from $223.330 million last year to $280.920 million between July and December 2021-22.
Among these personal services, exports of personal expenditure increased by 78.02% while expenditure related to education increased by 5.35%.
In addition, other personal services experienced an increase of 26.13%.
Meanwhile, exports of business services also increased by 34.57 percent, from US$0.810 million to US$1.090 million, PBS data showed.
It is pertinent to mention here that the country’s service exports witnessed an increase of 20.24% in the first six months of the current financial year (2021-22) compared to the corresponding period last year. , Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported.
Services exports in July-December (2021-22) were recorded at $3,414.96 million compared to exports of $2,840.15 million in July-December (2020-21), showing a growth of 20.24 %.
Imports also increased by 38.80% from $3784.27 million last year to $5252.45 million during the period under review.
