A travel agency founded in Peterborough is recruiting staff for its expansion.

Sunny Heart Travel was set up amid the Covid-19 pandemic as an online business and opened its first physical store in Beales department store, Westgate a month ago.

He said: “I expect to make an announcement in the coming weeks. We are very progressive in our choice of premises which allows for more staff to be hired.

“We look forward to what will be an exciting new chapter for Sunny Heart Travel, as we continue to champion the high street and offer our famous one-on-one vacation booking service with unbeatable prices on the internet.

Mr. Bentzen added, “It is important to reassure our customers that Sunny Heart Travel is completely independent from Beales, and I would like to thank Beales for all of their support.”

Sunny Heart Travel was set up by Mr Bentzen and Jemma Sharman, following the 2019 collapse of holiday giant Thomas Cook, where they were both employed in the IT section.
