APTDC Division Manager, M Giridhar Reddy told The Hans India that they want to introduce more such custom packages in the coming days. After Karthika Masam, APTDC is considering other package tours covering various temples of Lord Vishnu in Magha Masam. A visit to Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu from Tirupati is in sight.

He said the idea was to organize a tour package to Tiruvannamalai every full moon day, as several devotees wish to visit this place on such an auspicious occasion to perform “Giri Pradakshina”. This day trip will be designed such that it starts from Tirupati in the morning. Tourists can go for Giri Pradakshina and darshan after which the bus will return to Tirupati to reach overnight. APTDC sees a lot of potential in such packages as they will be convenient and economical to suit enthusiasts, coupled with a qualified guide. Tourists can even enjoy LTC facilities by traveling with APTDC buses, he said.
