Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced a program of 12 winter sun destinations from Stansted Airport for 2023-24.
The UK’s third largest airline and largest tour operator offers up to 27 weekly flights to the Canary Islands – Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura – from the base in Uttlesford.
Other destinations on sale for winter 23/24 from the base include Malaga and Alicante in Spain, Palma in Mallorca, Antalya in Turkey, Faro and Madeira in Portugal, Paphos in Cyprus and Malta.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will offer nearly 50 weekly flights to these destinations from Stansted from early November to late April.
Steve Heapy, Managing Director of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are seeing strong demand from customers in the South East wanting to escape the long UK winter by booking their 23/24 winter holidays early. “
Meanwhile, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have cemented their position as the UK’s leading airline and tour operator in Turkey by advancing the start of the Summer 23 season from Stansted to Dalaman and Izmir to March 17 and April 17 respectively.
In July, Jet2.com was the only British airline not to have canceled any flights, despite carrying more than two million passengers.
This was achieved during a month in which Jet2.com launched its biggest summer schedule and the busiest weekend in the company’s history, when Jet2.com operated more than 800 flights on the weekend of July 23 and 24.
